Support to Tornquist protected workshop

We support the Protected Workshop and the social development of Tornquist community, at the same time we raise awareness of the importance of recycling.

Since 1989, Tornquist Protected Workshop has played a significant role within the community, promoting the social inclusion and participation of disabled children who work in cardboard, paper and plastic recycling and reuse.

This workshop is supported by the community,  the municipality and by the collaboration of neighbours who take daily their recyclable waste to green points and the workshop.

Papelera del sur is actively involved in supporting the Protected Workshop for its continuous management, by making different donations to satisfy its needs. In order to encourage the fulfillment of the important role it has for the community of Tornquist, we provide the transport of plastic bundles to Sarandí. In addition, we have donated the necessary materials for the construction of the present warehouse on Ruppel street and, also, a preforming machine that produces the polythene bags they market.
